Michelle became one of the very first LEED Accredited Professionals in 2002. For the past 20 years she has established significant LEED project expertise. She has worked on over 45 LEED projects varying in building type, rating system version and certification level from Certified to Platinum.
She is also a Certified Passive House Consultant (CPHC) with PHIUS and is well-versed to advise projects on the details, strategies and requirements to achieve Passive House Certification and significant energy savings on projects.
As a former US Green Building Council Faculty Member and professional development educator, she brings a unique ability to communicate the concepts and strategies contained within LEED, Passive House and other rating systems in order to provide ongoing education to her project teams, ensuring a more integrated and efficient process.
Michelle is a certified Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV SP) with the expertise to lead project teams through the Envision design, construction and documentation processes. She is also a certified Envision Verifier, providing third-party reviews of Envision project submissions for ISI. In addition, she is an Envision Training Provider, approved to deliver ISI Envision training education sessions.
