Orlando International Airport, Orlando, FL

LEED Operations and Maintenance (O+M)

The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) is pursuing the US Green Building Council (USGBC)’s Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) version 4 for Building Operations and Maintenance (O+M) Certification for the Orlando International Airport (MCO) campus. LEED Certification of the GOAA Master Site is being pursued through the “Campus” Approach. This would be the first airport LEED v4 EBOM and BD+C Campus Certification project in the world.

As phase one of this large project, the consultant team consisting of VHB, ecoPreserve and TLC completed a feasibility study report of potential LEED prerequisites and credits across the airport campus.
